I use VDJ for my karaoke show every week and i am very happy with it. VirtualDJ supports the binding of the CDG files with its MP3 counter parts as one single. When loaded on the deck, VirtualDJ will load the audio track on the deck and display the CDG file in the video mixer. The tracks will appear with a ―K in its icon.

Just curious, can you actually play a zip file? I Don't want to sound stupid, but if you can play karaoke in a zip format, i wasn' aware of it. Then you have the added value of compression and maintaining the differentiating file type for a karaoke file.
